About NCLC Ready

Who runs this site

NCLC Ready is a project by Stringspace. We are not affiliated with CCI Paris Île-de-France (which runs TEF Canada), France Éducation International (which runs TCF Canada) or Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). Nothing here is legal or immigration advice.

Where the numbers come from

• Score conversion tables are copied by hand from canada.ca — never generated or estimated — and covered by automated tests so a typo can’t slip into the calculator.
• Every guide lists the official pages it relies on and the date we last checked each one. When IRCC or the test providers change a rule, we update the page and its date; we don’t change dates without re-checking.
• If an official page and our site ever disagree, the official page is right.

How we use AI

Practice questions on this site are written with the help of AI. Each explanation quotes the sentence in the text that supports the answer, so you can check it yourself. They are original practice material, not official exam content. The recordings in the listening practice use text-to-speech voices; we transcribe each one back and compare it with the script before publishing. Score estimates from practice questions are indicative only; your official NCLC level comes from your TEF Canada or TCF Canada results.
